I’m a documentary and fine art photographer based in Durban, South Africa. I work with individuals, brands, NGOs, and cultural organisations to create honest, story-driven images.
My approach is observational rather than directive. I work best in real environments with real light, capturing what’s already there rather than constructing something that isn’t. Whether it’s a portrait session, a brand story, or a multi-day documentary project, the goal is always the same: images that feel true.
I shoot on both film and digital, and I’m happy to discuss which approach suits your project.

WHAT I OFFER:
Portrait Sessions. Individuals, couples, families, or creatives. Shot on location in a place that means something to you, not a studio. Ideal if you want photographs that look like you, not like a pose.
Personal Documentary. Your story, told through photographs over one or more sessions. This could be a day in your life, a project you’re working on, a milestone, or a place that matters to you.
Brand and Business Photography. Authentic visual content for your brand, business, or organisation. I focus on real moments, real spaces, and real people rather than staged stock-style imagery.
Event Coverage. Conferences, launches, cultural events, exhibitions, and gatherings. Documented as they happen, with an eye for the moments between the planned ones.
Cultural and Editorial Projects. Long-form documentary work, editorial features, and cultural storytelling. If you’re a publication, festival, or cultural organisation, I’d like to hear from you.
NGO and Development Work. Documentary photography for non-profits, development organisations, and social impact projects. I have experience working across South Africa, Algeria, and India and understand the sensitivity these projects require.
